Van Halen's new album and tour was long in the making. Eddie Van Halen got married, and underwent surgery on his left hand to treat arthritis. His son Wolfgang, who is now full-time bassist with the group, graduated highschool. And finally Van Halen entered the studio to record their new album at the beginning of 2011. It became their first full length album since 1998's Van Halen III. It was also the first time David Lee Roth was featured on vocals in 27 years. January 2012 saw the release of Van Halen's first charting single on radio in years, and their album "A Different Kind of Truth" was released on February 7, 2012.
Now they're embarking on a North American tour that will take them all around the U.S. and to the Canadian cities of Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, and finally Winnipeg on May 13th! Get your tickets here.
