A semi was ablaze this afternoon at about 1 p.m., on the south service road immediately east of the intersection of Saskatchewan Avenue and the Canad Inns location.

Eastbound traffic into Portage was being rerouted off the Trans-Canada temporarily toward the Portage Mall area.
