It’s been a long, looooong time, and Portage Toyota & RV simply isn’t the spry young dealership it used to be. Open for business since 1973, they’ve seen automotive trends and challenges come and go, and to be honest… it’s time for a facelift.

Today, their team is gearing up to respond to the most recent change- the higher demand for hybrid vehicle services.

Adam Trudeau, general manager at Portage Toyota & RV, has decided to renovate and expand. This will include the installation of EV charging stations to accommodate this growing interest in electric vehicles, another step towards a more electric future.

The charging station wasn’t the only reason for renovations. The company’s continued growth meant a need for increased space especially, Trudeau notes, for enhancing the customer’s experience. The introduction of a service drive-thru will enable clients to conveniently bring their vehicle indoors, shielding them from inclement weather.

The changes will also include a refresh for the building exterior, the showroom, and the customer lounge. Despite all these changes, the business is open as usual. Visitors are asked to use the northeast shop door, which will boast clear signage for directions and parking. As always, courtesy pickup and drop-off services will remain available.

The renovation plans are slated for completion within one year, with the service drive-thru being the primary project. Trudeau and his team love connecting with clients and community members alike, and encourage anyone with questions or concerns to contact them.
