In the MJHL last night, Portage Terriers fell 4-2 to the Blues in Winnipeg.

The Blues never trailed, with Ty Naasykens scoring the game's opening goal in the final minute of the first period.

Jayson Szun and James Maxwell scored in the second, with Chase Brakel getting the Dogs on the board, in between.

Owen Murray brought Portage closer, making it 3-2, 11 minutes into the third.

The Terriers pulled goalie Ethan Peterson with a couple of minutes left, but Winnipeg's Sulivan Shortreed got an empty-netter.

Peterson faced 26 shots on the night, compared to 44 directed at Winnipeg's Jeremy Link.

The Terriers now prepare for a trip to Virden on Thursday night.

In other action, Waywayseecappo edged Winkler 3-2.
