A member of Macgregor's beautification committee is encouraged by their latest report card. 

The village scored another five blooms, placing them into the winners circle category in future competition.  But Vivian McGregor says she was optimistic regardless of the outcome, considering the revitalized look of Macgregor. 

 

During the recent award ceremony in Winkler, community involvement in the village was also highlighted and McGregor links that to those who remains faithful to the beautification initiative.  She adds the initiative has become an outlet for community members to direct their time and energy. 

 

the win leaves McGregor optimistic of their next competition, although future plans aren't set.
