The 2022 entrepreneur of the year is grateful to be supported by the community.
Kara Pawloski, owner of Just be Wellness Studio and Centre Inc., won the Outstanding New Entrepreneur award during the 2022 Portage and District Chamber Business Awards Gala. Pawloski believes that the uniqueness of her business is what set her apart.
“I think I'm just bringing something new to Portage that's not offered,” says Pawloski. “And, in the end, it helps everyone involved in my business.”
She joins the previous winners, which include Caitlyn Giercke (Pharmasave), Adrienne Mekkes (Styled with Meraki), Nick Hourie (Nick’s Pro Clean), and Kennedy Guy (Kenny’s K9).
She wants to thank her husband, as well as her “shop family” saying she loves them all.
“(I want to) just get bigger and better and help more people,” notes Pawloski. “That’s the goal.”
