Six games last night in the MJHL, including a 7-2 victory by the Portage Terriers over the Southeast Blades. The Terriers spread the puck around as all seven goals were scored by seven different players.

Elsewhere in the MJHL, the Soo Thunderbirds and Neepwawa played to 6 all draw, Winkler beat Swan Valley 5-2, the Selkirk Steelers slipped by the Dauphin Kings in overtime 4-3, the Winnipeg South Blues took a 3-1 victory over Waywayseecapo, and the Winnipeg Saints edged OCN 6-5.

In Manitoba AAA hockey, the Pembina Valley Hawks scored four second period goals on there way to a  5-2 win over the Yellowhead Chiefs last night. 

The PCI Saints won their own high school volleyball tournament this weekend. The Saints were 2-1 in the round robin beating.D. Parker, and Churchill but falling to West Kildonan. PCI opened the playoff round against G. Roy winning 25-13, 25-16, in the semi-finals they beat Sanford 25-17, 23-25, 15-12, in the finals the Saints meet R.D. Parker again defeating them 25-19, 25-16.

In the boys high school volleyball tournament the PCI Trojans, lost in the semi-finals after an impressive effort. The boys beat R.D. Parker, and St. James, while tyeing Fort Richmond and Neelin who went on to win the tournament, over Westgate who the Trojans lost to in the semi-final.

The Bantam Portage Pitbulls will be limping into the playoffs but not with injuries. The dogs lost a tough fought game to the Greendale Falcons yesterday in Winnipeg 55-26. The Atom and Peewee Pitbulls play today against the St. Vital Mustangs in Winnipeg.
