A new deal has been reached between the Manitoba government and its doctors.

Doctors Manitoba released a memo which shows the four-year-contract includes a general fee-for-service increase of 1.75 per cent over the latter two years of the deal.

Rate increases are also going to be allowed for physicians in the final two years due to their alternate funded agreements.

This is all dependent on a ratification vote which is expected to take place some time this week.
