Mary Doreen Warrington
(Thrones – nee Mousseau)

Mary Warrington was one of the strongest most courageous, bravest, kindest, women to ever walk this earth. Our family was blessed to have her in our army. She gave her all and put her whole heart into everything she did, words can’t even explain. Mary passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side in the early hours of November 22, 2023 at the age of 61 years.

Mary is survived by her six children, Sheila (Jeff), Shana, Shawna (Clinton), Sheena (Alan), Shaina (Matthew), Shane (Raelene) and her husband of 14 years Alan Warrington, along with her many grandchildren, relatives and friends. Whom were all there for her during her battle with cancer. Showing her the love and support just as she would have done for any of us. She was predeceased by her beloved Granny, Mom and Dad and sister Eileen Morriseau early this year. They can now create and grow and craft all together in heaven.

Mary was born on December 9, 1961 in St. Rose du Lac. She taught us all to love unconditionally and therefore we have the tools to pass this love onto her 18 grandchildren she held so dear to her heart. It will carry on is all of us forever. A caregiver as well at Lions Prairie Manor she became known as “Mama Bear” with her loving hugs and beautiful caring nature. (ok, ok and because she was bossy)

For many years she was a single mom of six kids but she conquered like no other, but not without help. The Salvation Army saved the day many times with hampers, or thoughtful gestures so in lieu of flowers we ask to donate to the Salvation Army so someone else can also feel their love. Drop off anytime Tuesday – Friday 9-3 at 220 Duke Ave Portage la Prairie.
