Portage La Prairie City Councillor Melissa Draycott is excited to begin work with the community services portfolio. Taking on this portfolio includes working closely with community organizations such as the Community Revitalization Corporation, the Heritage Committee, the Parks Committee, and the cities youth councillor. Draycott explains while working closely with these organizations and committees she will create reports for the council. Draycott adds, though it's not a new portfolio, it's new for her and she is very excited about it.
