It was a good turnout for the Natural Healing Fair held at the Herman Prior Activity Centre last Saturday.

Chair of the fair Anita Miles says it was an event held to raise money for some non-profits in honour of Dr. Lisa Graham, a naturopathic doctor at Heartland Family Wellness Centre. Miles says natural healing has come a long way.

"It's amazing how it's evolved. I've called over 40 businesses and I got 18 businesses that came to the fair," says Miles. "The purpose of this was they helped raise money and we help them promote their business."

Miles says all the money they raised on that day will go to Habitat for Humanity, Love Has No Colour, and the Family Resource Centre's Recreational Opportunities for Kids program. At least $3,000 will be donated, but more expected based on the silver collection, 50/50, silent auction and more.
