The NFL's Wildcard weekend is over. Seattle, Indianapolis, New England and Philadelphia have advanced to the Semi-finals. In Saturday's action the Dallas Cowboys were prepared to take the lead over Seattle, however Quarterback Tony Romo botched the snap on what should have been a 19 yard no-brainer for Place Kicker Martin Gramatica. Romo fumbled the snap and attempted to run the ball in from just inside Seattle's five yard line, he was tackled and the Seahawks prevailed 21-20. The Seahawks will take on Chicago this Sunday. In Saturday's AFC match up the Colts didn't allow the Kansas City Chiefs a single first down until the third quarter, they won 23-8 and move on to face Baltimore. In yesterday's action the New England Patriots broke the doors open on a close game with the Jets. The Pats scored 2 touchdowns in under 30 seconds in the 4th to beat New York 37-16. New England moves on to play San Diego. In the NFC game, the Philadelphia Eagles relied on the leg of David Akers to get past the Giants 23-20. Akers connected on a 38 yard field goal as time expired. The Eagles move on to play New Orleans on Saturday night.
