The Ag Grounds in Holland will be the scene of something unique this Wednesday.

Two Royal Canadian Air Force helicopters (a Jet Ranger B 206 and a Bell 412) will land at 1 p.m. and visit until 3 p.m.

Economic development officer for the RM of Victoria, Cypress River and Holland Craig Soldier says this is an opportunity he is thankful to help provide and you won't want to miss.

"Anyone who wants to, can walk up to the helicopters to see the inside of the helicopter, have a seat in it and talk to the pilots."

Soldier shares that the procedure to make this happen took about six weeks.

"It was a very interesting process," continues Soldier. "I'm very grateful for it once you see all the hands it's got to go through and the time and effort the Air Force staff put into it."

The economic development officer notes that anyone attending will have to stay outside a designated 500-foot radius of the ground area until the helicopters fully shut down for safety reasons.

Soldier adds that everyone is welcome to come out to this free event and soak in the day, which he hopes inspires some children to dream for the sky when It comes to a possible career.
