The Portage Terriers have traded 2002 born forwards, Ben Hackl and Matthew Ramsey along with a 6th round pick in the 2020 draft to the Dauphin Kings for 2002 born defenseman Reece Richmond.

Hackl scored a total of 33 points in 37 games with the Kenora Thistles in the Manitoba U-18 AAA Hockey League this past year. He also has five points (four goals) in just seven games with the team this year.

Ramsey racked up 30 points in 33 games with the Southwest Cougars last season.

Richmond played with the Yellowhead Chiefs and had 12 goals and 37 assists in 43 games last season. He has 2 goals and 7 assists in 9 games this season.
