Traffic restored after brief bypass closure

Emergency crews responded to an incident on the westbound lane of the south bypass in Portage la Prairie on Monday, May 11.

Westbound traffic was briefly closed while police and emergency personnel attended the scene, with motorists being detoured through the city.

Roadway has since reopened

The detour was in effect for a short period before the scene was cleared and the westbound lane was reopened to traffic.

Motorists may still experience minor delays in the area as traffic returns to normal flow.
