Will McKay and Trevor Hill each added another goal to their strong series, and the team got goals from Justin Deschenes, Drayden Uhrina, Breck Hirrschoff, Ryker Thomas, and Victor Proulx. The second game saw less than half the penalty minutes, with Portage going 6/6 on the penalty kill, but 0/3 on the powerplay. Donavan Bodnar stopped 32 of the 34 shots he faced, and earned his first win of the season. Deschenes was named the Popeyes player of the game for his efforts, contributing a pair of assists on top of his goal as well.
