The top performers during the Round Robin of the 2016 Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup were honoured on Friday night in Estevan.
All five teams competing in this year's tournament were in attendance for the Players Awards banquet, including the respective commissioners from the BCHL, AJHL, SJHL and MJHL.
Guest speaker and M.C. Glenn "Chico" Resch welcomed everyone to the banquet and rattled off a few interesting stories to the crowd before dinner was served.
Following the meal, a special video greeting was made from current Captain of the NHL's Dallas Stars Jamie Benn. Benn played one full season in the BCHL with the Victoria Grizzlies in 2006/07 and has become one of the top players in the NHL.
Finally, the awards portion of the evening began.
