The Austin A's are back in action tomorrow, and they're playing the Minnedosa Mavericks at 7 p.m.

A's coach Richard Smith says the team has a different look this year, noting that they lost five players to the Portage Padres.

"We lost five very good players from Portage back to the Portage Padres, with Brody Moffat, Chance Dickenson, Laine Taylor, Jared Roy and Jason Brooks," Smith says. "So losing those players really hurt us, it made us wonder if we wanted to be in the league anymore. Losing all our pitchers and some high caliber players."

He says most of those spots were filled by high-school students from MacGregor.

"Luckily, we had a strong turnout of players from the MacGregor high school, and we picked up about 6 high school players."

The Mavericks last year were one of the best in the league, and Smith admits, it will be a tough game.
