CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS

Whether you plan to join us in Portage or maybe the festivities in Austin there's a little something for everyone coming up on July 1st!

 

"BIG" DUCK RACE

Big Brothers Big Sisters will be selling Duck tickets for The "BIG" Duck Race all the way through until race time at 6:30pm at Splash Island.  Tickets are $5 for one or $10 for three.  

 

DAUHPIN'S COUNTRYFEST

Since 1990 Dauphin has invited some of the biggest names in country music to perform through July long weekend.  This year features the likes of Keith Urban, Doc Walker, Johnny Reid and Luke Bryan.  Single day tickets and weekend camping are still available.

 

DOG SHOW

The Portage Kennel Club is holding their annual dog show Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Canad Inns at Portage la Prairie.  the best part about this event...it's absolutely free to visit!  Good luck to all the contestants involved!

 

STRAWBERRY SEASON BEGINS

Visit Mayfair or Connery's Farms this weekend to buy or pick some delicious strawberries.  It comes around once a year so make sure you take advantage of strawberry season while it's here!
