The Portage Aeros are back in the friendly confines of Republic Park for tonight's Manitoba Major Soccer League action against Stonewall United.

The Aeros got off to a hot start this season but have lost back-to-back games coming into tonight.

Head Coach Chad Green says the team has been good for the most part in their last two games, it's just been costly mistakes.

Stonewall United comes into town with a 2-3 record in the MMSL's Second Division.

Green notes they always get a tough test from Stonewall and expects a pretty even match-up.

The Aeros offense so far this season has, once again, been led by Duane Chaves. The hard-nosed striker has six goals in just four games this year.

Green says Chaves does provide quite the boost on offense but there are other options for the team.

The Aeros and United hit the pitch at 7:45 pm tonight at Republic Park.
