The Portage la Prairie Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Agriculture Appreciation Night this Friday, February 3rd at the MNP Building on Island Park. This event has been occuring for more than 3 decades, and is a celebration that has contributed to our area substantially.

This year's speaker is Colleen Dyck, founder and inventor of GORP (Clean) Energy Bars. With the help of FDC (Food Development Centre) in Portage la Prairie, this farmer of the Canadian Prairies achieved her dream and produced her product. More on Colleen's clean energy bars can be found at her website .
