Another Golden West Farmer Appreciation Lunch drew a large, enthusiastic crowd to the Manitoba Agricultural Museum's grounds today.

One of them was Langruth's Albert Czeranko, who says it means a lot to ag producers.

"It's good for all of us to get together and to see people, and enjoy, have some food, and talk."

Several ag-related businesses were there as well, and Jason Manns echoes Czeranko's thoughts.

Jason Manns"It's very important to have a day like this, where we get to recognize what the farmers do, throughout the whole year. And we get to see them all in one place, and give them a nice little reward for their hard year's work."

Portage area resident Pam Pugh calls the event wonderful.

"CFRY brings in a lot of people to Portage, and surrounding communities, and put on a great show every year."
