There will be a new Vice Principal at Carman Collegiate this fall. 

Avery Griffith joined the Prairie Rose School Division in 2015 and is currently a middle years French Immersion teacher at École St. Eustache. He will take over the VP position at Carman Collegiate effective September 3rd. 

A news release announcing Griffith's appointment noted his educational training includes a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and that he is currently in the process of completing his Masters of Education in Educational Administration.

Griffith has been active in learning and completing training in Sources of Strength (SOS), Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), mRLC Numeracy
Achievement Project, Project 11, Zones of Regulation, and others. "Avery’s dedication to developing life-long learners is evident in his teaching," stated the news release.

Griffith is also being noted as an advocate for STEM and is passionate in the areas of drama and the arts. He is committed to the development of a strong French Immersion program at Carman Collegiate.

"Avery is dedicated to student success that ensures that all students receive inclusive, innovative, and top-quality programming in a productive and positive environment," added the Division.
