The Herman Prior Centre is planning another busy summer filled with activities. Executive Director Chris Dumont outlines one of the bigger outings.

"One is going to Clear Lake, that's a lunch cruise," says Dumont. "People take the bus up to the lake, go down to the marina and get on the Marteze boat, have lunch and a bit of a cruise around."

There also is the chance to take in a play, as well as an opportunity to learn about various cultures around the world.

"We've got Rainbow Stage coming up, limited seats for that event," adds Dumont. "In August, the very first day of Folklorama we are going first to the Scottish Pavilion, then the Chinese and finally the Brazilian Pavilion."

Dumont notes people can sign up to be a member to save money on the trips. The Clear Lake trip happens July 10th, Rainbow Stage is July 18th and the Folklorama is August 6th.
