Canadian Junior Limousin Impact Show visits Portage!

The 15th Canadian Junior National Limousin Impact Show will be coming to Portage la Prairie this year for July 27-30, 2017! Multiple awards will be given out in categories ranging from sportsmanship to photography, graphic design to Quiz Bowl, Team Grooming to Oral Marketing, much more, and of course, confirmation and showmanship!

What is the CJLA Impact Show for?

The Canadian Junior Limousin Association is an entity of and shall operate within the scope of the bylaws, rules, policies and regulations of the Canadian Limousin Association. The objectives and purposes of the Canadian Junior Limousin Association shall be as follows:

To encourage young people 21 years and younger to breed, raise and promote Limousin cattle in Canada.
To improve and develop the industry capabilities of youth, both individually and through group participation.
To develop and improve leadership, sportsmanship, and moral character among its members.
To direct, assist, and guide provincial CJLA organizations with their youth programs and activities.
To have a lot of fun!

The Canadian Junior National Limousin Impact Show gathers children and young adults from all over the nation to compete in various categories to test their knowledge, skill, their strengths, and show off their love of the Limousin cattle breed.
