The City of Portage la Prairie is currently accepting grant applications from local businesses and charities. City Councilor Brent Budz says it's important that organizations who are interested get their applications in sooner rather than later. He gives more details.

"We are accepting grants in-person at City Hall or by email until September 11th," says Budz. "We do have a separate email address set-up grants@city-plap.com."

The application is available for any organization interested at the City of Portage la Prairie's website.
