Over 200 graduates were awarded their high school diplomas tonight at the PCI Graduation Ceremony that happened at Stride Place. Hundreds of their family members and friends packed the stands to show support for their loved ones in caps and gowns. The class valedictorian for the year was Tee-Tee Appah. She spoke about what it was like being chosen.

Valedictorian Tee-Tee Appah addresses the graduates. "It was an honour, I was so surprised and happy that they chose me to represent our class and to give one last message," says Appah. "I'm just proud of how far everyone has come since kindergarten and I can't wait to see what we're all going to do next."

Not all of the graduates will be going to university, getting a job or even taking a gap year. Larry Pettinger finally received his high school diploma after more than 50 years.

"It was a pretty exciting evening without a doubt," says Pettinger. "It's taken me about an 50 extra years but I was a little busy making a living

Exchange student Daniela Zilinska receives her diploma.and raising a family. Getting into about a year of retirement and I found out how easy PCI made it so I could go back and do something like this. It was a fabulous experience right from last September until now."

Congratulations to the PCI graduating class of 2018!

The graduating class held their prom at Stride Place as well.  Looking sharp grads!
