This year's Made in Manitoba Expo was a tremendous success, and plans are already underway for next year.

Portage la Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Cindy McDonald says they had 39 exhibitors this year, compared to 34 last year.

She says they could hypothetically fit a few more in the MNP Exhibition Building.

"The (Winnipeg Blue) Bombers took up a little bit of room, so I think we could probably fit about 45, and we would be packed," says McDonald.

She says they have to look at increasing the number of exhibitors because they've already had requests to be a part of the event. She says it isn't too late to inquire about next year's expo.

"Any time, they can just shoot me off an e-mail, at info@portagechamber.com," says McDonald. "Let me know what your product is, and I'll tell you whether you're a fit or not."

She says those interested need to contact her as soon as possible, as she expects to sell out next year's expo fairly quickly. She notes, it's a fantastic problem to have.
