Some farmers in rural Manitoba may have a difficult time with the impending closure of 21 Manitoba Agricultural Service Corporation Offices on the horizon.

Effective April 1, Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development will combine efforts with the Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation to provide a single service.

According to the Government of Manitoba Website, MASC encourages a strong and diversified rural economy through a variety of financial services and risk management programs.

Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development and MASC offices will be closing in Altona, Gladstone, and Teulon. There will be 10 offices left open, including offices located in Portage la Prairie, Arborg, Headingly, Neepawa, and Steinbach.
