The council and the rate-payers of the RM of Westbourne are making the area safer for children playing.

The RM will be posting watch for children playing signs if families request them.

The condition is the families will be required to pay half.

Deputy Reeve Dwight Ferguson notes the program has already started, but they cannot estimate how many signs will be installed.

Ferguson explains the RM council can not answer every request, but if a ratepayer is willing to cost share the council understands it is a serious request.
