Portage City Council

The new Portage City Council's first meeting has begun.

 

After being sworn in last week, the new councillors are dealing with issues before the city.

 

Council's approved giving the PRRA the authority to control traffic leaving Island Park after major events.

 

Royal Road will be transformed into a two-lane, one-way street until traffic is cleared from the island.

 

The idea is to get traffic off the island in a timely manner.
