A new regional coordinator's in place for the Alzheimer's Society's Interlake/Eastern office.

Samantha Holland took the job May 6th, and talks about what it's been like since then.

"I'm kind of settling in," she says, "We're moving to the new office in Selkirk after the long weekend, so that'll be a bit of a transition. But overall, it's been really great to get out into the community and start to meet people, and make those connections."

Holland outlines some of their services.

"We offer information and support to individuals and families impacted by dementia," she says, "Over the phone, in-office visits, or we can communicate via e-mail, what ever works best. And then I'm also available to go out and do presentations. And we're also going to be doing Minds in Motion, starting in the fall."

Holland's especially excited about Minds In Motion, noting it hasn't been available for some time.
