New Music Saturday is back for another week and there has been a lot of great release.  We'll be featuring the second single from a 5-piece, harmony-driven group hailing from Ottawa made up of life-long friends, Chris Labelle, Chris McComb, Jeremy Bortot, Jordan Potvin and Daniel DiGiacomo with rock n’ roll roots... It's River Town Saints!  These guys are definitely proving that a little heart (and a lot of work) DOES go a long way.

River Town Saint’s unbeatable energy shines through in this firecracker of a single. River Town Saints released their debut single ‘A Little Big Goes A Long Way’ in late 2015, landing them on many “Artists to Watch Lists” for 2016.

River Town Saints, second single: 'Cherry Bomb'

Lead vocalist, Chris Labelle says, “To us, ‘Cherry Bomb’ is a song about a woman with a knock-out personality. She’s someone who is a firecracker; wildly unpredictable, keeps you guessing, guided by pure instinct. She makes the perfect girlfriend, but being with her is like playing with fire - you just might get burned.”

This summer you'll see the group on the festival circuit, performing at Boots and Hearts in Ontario, Rock the Park in London and The Queen’s Plate Canada Day celebration at Woodbine Race track. Since signing with Open Road Recordings, they've also added to their resume performing with The Road Hammers, Tim Hicks and Autumn Hill.

Tune in at 5:20 tomorrow for the preview of 'Cherry Bomb' on New Music Saturday!  If you like what you hear, let us know by visiting Facebook or sending us a tweet @country931fm
