This years table for 800 event, put on by the Central Plains Cancer Services (CPCS), sold out in 15 minutes.

Suzanne Calder and her friends were unable to get a table this year, but that did not stop them from getting together and raising funds.

Calder notes when she and her friends were unable to get a table, they decided to host their own progressive dinner via bikes.

"They were all on board," says Calder.

She says they visited four houses, enjoying food along the way. Altogether, the 18 people involved raised $425.00 for CPCS.

Calder adds they were inspired to do this because everyone in her friend group has been touched by cancer in some way. She encourages everyone in the community to do as they did because it's a cause worth supporting.
