Tonight for their 7th game of the season in the Winnipeg Women's Soccer League Portage will play an unfamiliar opponent.

The Blaze's opposition this evening comes in the form of Northstars, a club they've never faced before.

Despite the unfamiliarity, Blaze Coach, Bryan Mintenko, says from doing his homework over the past few years he knows the Northstars have spent much time at the bottom of the standings, and they're not a club with a high octane offense. He adds Portage should be able to use their speed up front and exploit the Northstars defence and give their own offense a shot in the arm, which has been lacking to date this season.

Game time is 7:30 at Winnipeg's Red River Community College.
