After asking the public for assistance, the Portage la Prairie RCMP have arrested Wesley Roulette.
Roulette, 43 years old, was at large on a Warrant of Arrest, and on Wednesday, police got their guy.
According to the police report, a traffic stop was initiated by the Portage la Prairie RCMP General Investigations Unit with a vehicle on 6th Avenue NE on April 3 at 10:30 p.m. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Roulette, was arrested for his outstanding warrant. During the search of Roulette, items indicative of trafficking drugs were found along with multiple identifications.
Roulette is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Weapons Possession Contrary to an Order, and two counts of Possession or Trafficking in Government Document.
Roulette was held to appear in court on Thursday, April 4.
