The Portage la Prairie RCMP are asking for your help identifying a suspect who stole someone's purse at a local business.

The incident occurred on December 4, at approximately 4 p.m. RCMP received a call about the theft that had occurred. The suspect nabbed the purse while the owner had left their cart briefly unattended.

The suspect ran through the store, while the shop owner attempted to pursue the suspect.

The suspect was last seen exiting the store and running north on 22nd Ave Northwest.

Video and photo were provided to the RCMP, but officers have not been able to identify the suspect.
