The annual Potato Festival's on tomorrow in Portage.

It's the third edition, and sees Saskatchewan Avenue as the centre of activity.

Festival Chair Karen Weibe has spearheaded the festival every year. She admits even though they've done this before, organizers still deal with challenges, but over-all, preparations have run smoothly.
The Potato Festival features continuous entertainment on the Saskatchewan Avenue main stage, with the Stampeders as headliners. Weibe notes the Stampeders represent a significant change, as they try appealing to a different audience.

She adds kids' attractions are something receiving extra concentration this year as well.
