The 150th Portage Ex is almost here, and the Quilt Guild in Portage is getting ready to showcase their quilts at the event. Pat Crandell, along with other Quilt Guild members, were judging the quilt competition for the fair. She expressed her joy at seeing the new quilts for this year.

“Oh, it is just wonderful.” Crandell exclaimed, “I was just admiring some of the quilts; just the fabrics that they chose to use in the patterns. It's always a nice surprise when you get to unfold another quilt.“

The Quilt Guild members have worked hard on their projects, and Crandell appreciates their dedication. She's eagerly looking forward to showcasing these remarkable creations at the Portage Ex.

Crandell also mentioned that one of the highlights for her is meeting people she only sees once a year at the fair. The MNP building in Island Park will host the quilt display, providing a perfect backdrop for the beautiful quilts. It promises to create an inviting atmosphere for all attendees.
