Recent rainy weather isn't a significant factor in construction of Meyers, Norris, Penny's new building in the west end of Portage.

MNP Partner Jerry Lupkowski is confident they'll open on schedule, next March, adding they leave decisions on dealing with bad weather to the contractors. He feels they're prepared to meet the challenges posed by the rain.

Lupkowski calls seeing the building go up an adrenaline rush, after about two years of planning.

He's looking forward to seeing walls constructed by about October so workers will be sheltered during the winter.
