The RM of Portage la Prairie's proud of the Portage Terriers and wants to put their money behind them.

Reeve Kam Blight discussed the request for them to sponsor the upcoming Terriers Alumni and Boston Bruins Alumni game and dinner in association with the Portage Rotary Club.

"Council discussed it, and there are many different option that were discussed by Council," says Reeve Kam Blight. "We recognized the good work that Rotary Club does in our community."

Blight adds all on Council agreed the support should be provided for the Terriers so they opted for the bronze level of sponsorship which amounts to $750.
