The round-robin portion of the Scotties has come to an end and incredibly, all four Manitoba teams are still alive. It was pretty amazing that the original field of 18 contained 4 teams from Manitoba, but the fact that they are all now a part of the final 6 is unprecedented.

Jennifer Jones will meet Selena Sturmay of Alberta and four-time defending champion Kerri Einarson will take on Rachel Homan of Ontario in the 1 vs 2 Qualifiers at 1 p.m. The winners will go directly to the Page Playoff 1-2 game Saturday night while the losers meet the third-place pool finishers Kate Cameron and Kaitlyn Lawes tonight at 7 p.m. in the 3 vs 4 qualifiers.

There are also plenty of curling events happening in Manitoba this week as well.

The Telus Junior Men's and Women's event is on in Carman. With a 1-1 record, team Colton Olafson is on the B-side and will curl at 12:15 p.m. today. The McCain Men's and Women's Superspiel continues in Carberry this weekend while there are men's events in Petersfield and Warren, a ladies' event in Stonewall and an open event at the Arden/Lansdowne club.
