The winter storm that passed through southern Manitoba has left plenty of snow behind, and for snowmobilers, that's great news.

However, Club Snow President Tony McIvor reminds riders to be safe as well.

Tony McIvor"Follow the speed limit for the trails," he says. "Just be careful because there are lots of little dips and stuff. If we have a lot of snow, they're covered in, so you have to be mindful."

McIvor urges riders to be careful out there.

"There is lots of stuff underneath the snow that you don't really see, with the fresh snow cover," he says. "And that's why we, as a club, make sure our trails are safe before we open them."
