Terrier Fundraiser Recapped

The Portage Terriers held their annual golf tournament this week, and according to the team's head coach the event was another successful outing.

Don MacGillivray says Thursday's Terrier fundraiser, which was held at the Portage Golf Club, is an important part of their fiscal year and once again organizers did a tremendous job. He feels the tournament offered some great prizes adding overall it was a fantastic day as everybody enjoyed themselves.

In other local golf news, this week Bev Hyde hit a hole in one at the Portage Golf Course, on hole #7. She used a 5 wood and cleared a distance of 139 yards.
