A pretty good start indeed. Recently acquired forward Rylee Zimmer has made quite the impact with the Terriers and he has been here less than a week. In his first three games, Zimmer has 5 goals and 1 assist and all three games have been victories. That was enough for him to be named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

Zimmer, from Russell, has also been key on special teams. Of his 5 goals, 2 were on the power play and 1 was a short handed tally.

The Terriers are back on the ice Tuesday night in Selkirk and the game will be broadcast on CFRY. In order to score, Zimmer will have to put the puck past one of the runner ups for the weekly honour. 20 year old goaltender Hayden Dola of the Steelers and 20 year old forward Matt Christian of the Winkler Flyers were recognized for their stellar play as well.
