There are four games on tap this evening in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, including a featured match-up at the MTS Centre with the Terriers taking on the Saints. Portage and Winnipeg met at the MTS Centre last year and Terrier head coach, Blake Spiller says anytime a team gets an opportunity to play in one of the top facilities in Manitoba, it's certainly a positive experience for the players. He adds he's expecting a number of fans from both Portage and the surrounding area to take in tonight's contest and overall he feels it will be a good night for everyone. If you can't get to the MTS Centre to take in the action first hand, CFRY will have the play-by-play beginning with the Bill's Sticky Fingers pre-game show at 7:20. The game comes on the heels of yesterday's deal between the two clubs seeing the Dogs send blueliner Trent King, forward Kyle Jeffery and the MJHL list rights of forward Tim Hayduk to Winnipeg in exchange for defenceman Kyle Fischer and highly touted sniper Jordan Wilson. As of last night word out of both camps was that all active players involved in the trade will be in the lineup for their respective clubs this evening. Portage management wasn't finished dealing there, as last night they completed a move seeing forward Jason Wright off to the British Columbia Hockey League to lend his talents to the Merritt Centennials for forward John Bokla and future considerations. Elsewhere tonight, Swan Valley is at OCN, Neepawa hosts Waywayseecappo and Southeast travels to Selkirk.
