The Terriers four game win streak came to an end last night at the hands of the Waywayseecapo Wolverines. After an impressive win over the team Friday night the Terriers couldn't make it a weekend sweep losing a hard fought 4-2 affair.

The Wolverines opened the scoring on the power play 10 minutes into the game and went into the dressing room up 2-0 after twenty minutes. Former Terrier Kolton Shindle would open the scoring in the second frame with his third of the season and while the Terriers Mason Smith would notch one with five seconds left in the period the team was forced to play from behind all night. Daniel Siso scored the other marker for the Dogs who went 1 for 5 on the power play. Penalty trouble was an issue as the Wolverines went 2 for 7 with the man advantage and outshot the Terriers 36-20.

The loss leaves the Terriers one point behind the Selkirk Steelers for the final playoff spot in the East division with two games remaining before the Christmas break. Swan Valley is in Portage for two games next weekend on Friday and Saturday.
