Two down, two to go for The Portage Terriers.

After winning games one and two by scores of 4-1 and 3-1, the Terriers look to take a stranglehold in their series with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines at Stride Place in game three, tonight.

Assistant Coach Paul Harland says game two was a tight one, as the Wolverines fed off the energy of their fans, and it took some time for the Dogs to get going.

"The main thing was after they tied the game up, I thought we started to play our best hockey of the game," says Harland. "Our guys dug in and we were able to create more chances and eventually find the game winner and then close the door with an empty netter."

Portage had six power play opportunities in that game, and did not convert on a single one.

"Hopefully moving forward, we'll be able to generate a little more offence and get our power play going a little better than it did in game two and create more chances," says Harland.

Game three gets underway at 7:30 p.m. with the pre-game starting on CFRY and PortageOnline at 7:20.
