Eddie Goertzen, Portage la Prairie MB

He's studied and played music in Vancouver, and Winnipeg. Now he calls Portage home, and is working as a solo guitar/vocal artist.

Eddie Goertzen planted his musical roots while growing up in rural Southern Manitoba, playing guitar in clubs and gigging with rock and country bands. As he grew into a serious guitarist, he moved to Vancouver to study music, found his way into the Vancouver music scene, and developed a unique style of solo Jazz guitar. Eddie eventually found his way back to Manitoba, playing in in the Winnipeg Jazz, Blues and Rock scenes with Fast Eddie and the Testifiers, Cooler Than Jesus, Walraven and Big Sap and the Sugar Shack, while studying at the Universities of Winnipeg, and Manitoba.
