A water main repair is planned for Wednesday, March 20, at 9:00 a.m., resulting in a water interruption for some RM of Portage la Prairie customers south of the city.
Customers in the area marked red on the following map will experience a water interruption, while customers outside the affected area, to the south and east of the area marked in red, may have reduced water pressure during the repair.
The RM notes that the water may be off for 48 hours, and further information will be posted as it becomes available.
Following the restoration of the water supply, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in place until the water samples have been tested and deemed safe.
The RM assures customers that they will email them to notify them once the advisory has been lifted.
